As a rule, savers are used in testers to keep the main gear safe and save it from many insertions Creating process: In our savers and converters, we use NOS components made 40-60 years ago. We assume that the quality of materials in those years was better than now. Further, it seems logical if you use a converter (saver) for the NOS (rare) tube from the same materials as your tube. In all octal savers, we use metal tube base from kenotoron 4Ts14, which has exactly the same metal base as the now very popular 6N8S \ 1578 tube MELZ. We have developed a unique technology for dismantling this base from NOS 4c14 and the following assembly technology using thick copper single-core wires with a diameter of 0.8 mm (significantly better than in the original MELZ)
